A one picture has a similarity with the song. The song is composed by the song writer and it has a story behind every words that written. Like a song the picture is also has story behind and composed with artistic mind. The sweetest smile of the subject, the texture and details of the structures, the emotions that give life to the photo that tell us a story.
Last September 13 and 20 of year 2013, the students of La Verdad Christian College experienced the unforgettable photowalk. Mr. Dominic Meily conduct the activity for his class on basic photography to feel, experience and apply what they have learned from the lessons that they have studied.
At the warm and cloudy day of morning we assembled at the Central Ave LRT station. With our instructor Sir Doms and some members of Photoville International lead us for our first street photography. At the whole day of taking pictures everywhere in Intramuros I have learned a lot of things. And that's how the story begins.
Our group is headed by bro. Mar Vercide. In our group we have two cameras. As we walked along the streets and roads I felt the history of the oldest district and core of Manila, the Intramuros, it gives me the significant of the events happened there.
When taking some shots to different people I saw their life even they don't tell me. I've learned the fact the even we have a problem we can still smile to other. The emotions of the people complete the essence of our composed shots. We went everywhere and learned many things not just about photography but also the real life on the street that gives me inspiration to go farther in life.
At the end of the day everyone feels glad even we are all tired. We never think about how many kilometers we walked because we know and we love what we are doing.
